Apatite from Mozambique

A gem dealer obtained a large amount of rough apatite from Mozambique. From the large amount of rough, 55 gemstones were cut. The stones that ranged the biggest contained parallel arrays of eye-visible platelet inclusions, and at times fibrous needles. The stones were cut to decrease the visibility of the inclusions.
