Every once and a while, one of our clients finds something interesting and asks us to take a special look. In 2015, one such dealer gave us the opportunity to study a cat’s-eye aquamarine from Pakistan. The stone presented with unique inclusions that resembled an ocean scene upon closer inspection, some of which can be seen in the image on the left.

The resulting research was published in the Journal of Gemmology, Vol 35, No 3, 2016 pp. 188-189.
